The MHRD IPR Chair at IIT-Madras has been functioning in IIT-M since 2013.
Applications are invited for the post of Full-Time Research Associate (01) underMHRD IPR Chair, DoMS, IIT Madras, Chennai.
Eligibility
Candidates with a LLB/LLM degree having not less than 60% of marks may apply for the post.
Candidates witha background in Intellectual property law will be preferred.

About the work:
The work will involve policy, case law and empirical research relatingto patent law. Candidates should be based in Chennai or should be willing to relocate to Chennai.
Remuneration
Research Associates will be paid a consolidated salary of Rs. 25000/- per month (or any revised amount as per the MHRD IPR Norms).
Terms of engagement will be for one year initially and may be renewed further.
