NITI (National Institution for Transforming India) has initiated the Internship Scheme from 2015. The NITI (erstwhile Planning Commission) Internship Scheme, seeks to engage Indian Nationals, as “Interns”, who are undergraduate/ Graduate /Post Graduate or Research Students enrolled in reputed University/ Institution within India or abroad.
These “interns” shall be attached with various Divisions within NITI Aayog and would be expected to supplement the process of analysis within NITI through empirical collection and collation of in-house and other information.
For the “Interns” the exposure to the functioning of the Indian Government may be an add-on in furthering their future interests and a valuable exposure to the Government functioning and Developmental Policy issues in Government of India.
The internships are on an unpaid basis.
Period of internship shall be 6 weeks-2 months.

I am in final year with corporate law specialisation from NUSRL.5 yrs integrated course .
What r the openings for fresh graduates.
I hv done internship from 4 firms of tier 1 category.

As per the ‘Summer Internship Scheme, 2015 Guidelines’ given on http://pcmis.nic.in/internship/InternshipEntry/homepage.aspx , who have completed Final year of their Graduation (or are awaiting Final year result) are not eligible for unpaid internship.
Is this is an online internship?
I tried filling the online form.The only option that it provides after completing the form is PREVIEW.How do i SUBMIT the form?How do I get to know if the form has been accepted or not?
Who said that you are not eligible?
I am an undergraduate and will be completing final year of my graduation this june itself. Why am I not eligible? 🙁
