Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access (IDIA) is a registered Charitable Trust working in India which aims to empower underprivileged children by giving them access to quality legal education in top law schools ensuring an inclusive legal profession.
About the Quiz Competition
IDIA Mumbai in collaboration with Legal Aid Committee of the Government Law College, Mumbai is organising an “Online Fundraising Quiz”. All funds raised through the quiz will be equally donated to different public welfare organisations.
During these testing times, we at the Legal Aid Committee of Government Law College, Mumbai and IDIA Mumbai have decided to extend a helping hand towards the needy. An online fundraising quiz seemed just the right medium. We assure you the fun of an intellectually stimulating quiz as always, but this time also with the satisfaction of helping towards a greater cause.
“The small charity that comes from the heart is better than the great charity that comes from the head”. With this in mind, we invite you to register for the Legal Aid – IDIA Quiz with a nominal registration fee of Rs 100/-, though higher contributions would also be welcomed.
IDAI has identified the following four causes amongst which we will distribute the raised amount equally:
Sakshi, a Delhi based NGO that provides cooked meals and grocery kits to the needy.
Drona Foundation, a foundation that has been working in Dharavi to support the slum dwellers.
Dilasha Bajpai, a 5th-year student of GLC Mumbai who is distributing free food packages to the needy in Kandivali.
IDIA Mumbai, a charitable trust that identifies and trains students from underprivileged communities to appear for law entrance tests and make the most of their time at high-ranking law schools.
