About the Organizer
The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana is a statutory body created by the Indian Parliament to regulate and represent the Indian Lawyers. The council performs regulatory functions by prescribing standards of professional conduct and etiquette and also by exercising disciplinary jurisdiction over the Bar.
About the Dialogue
The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana is organising three Virtual Dialogue Sessions.
Theme: Law in the Digital Age and Indian Legal Service Industry Transformation
To deliberate, discuss and strengthen upon the resolve to bring together an effective mechanism to implement Rule of Law in the Digital Age, assist States to frame inclusive, citizen-centric, good governance oriented and human rights protective policies and promote Legal Service Transformation in a pragmatic and realistic manner the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana has encouraged this discussion in the form of a dialogue with varied Judges, Senior Advocates, Leaders of the Bar, International Experts and Scholars on the specified fields with an aim to decipher best solutions and recommendations for the Indian Judicial System.

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ajay Tewari: Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court
Justice Ajay Tewari is currently leading the charge for the digitization of all Courts in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh as the Chairman of the E-Committee of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Hon’ble Mr. Justice A Mohammed Mushtaq: Judge, Kerela High Court
Justice A Mohammed Mushtaq was sworn in as a Permanent Judge of the High Court of Kerala on 10th March 2016. He is currently leading the charge for the digitization of all Courts in the State of Kerala as the Chairman of the E-Committee of the Kerala High Court which has been the torchbearer during these times with some proper functional Courts since 28th March 2020.
Mr. Dushyant Dave: Senior Advocate and President, Supreme Court Bar Association
Mr. Dushyant Dave is a Senior Advocate, practicing in the Supreme Court of India at New Delhi. Mr. Dave has been at the Bar for three decades during which he has appeared in several thousand matters in various High Courts and the Supreme Court. Mr. Dave’s field of practice is extremely wide and involves varied subjects like Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Civil Laws, Corporate Laws and substantial work in Arbitration Law.
Mr. Adam Smith Anthony: Head of the Business & Human Rights Practice, Omnia Strategy LLP London
Adam Smith-Anthony is the Head of the Business & Human Rights practice at Omnia Strategy. He is a qualified solicitor-advocate specializing in public international and human rights law. His broad experience also encompasses employment, intellectual property, consumer and commercial law.
Adam is admitted to the role in England and Wales where his higher rights of audience permit him to appear before the senior courts. He was appointed the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice in June 2018.
