About the Institute
Indore Institute of Law is an Institute affiliated to Bar Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidalaya, Indore. Established in the year 2003 , it has the vision of bringing intellectual awakening and all-round development of our country through education.
About the Moot
After the grand success of its Eight chapters of National and International Law fests (Lex Bonanza), Indore Institute of Law initiated its flagship event, i.e., 1st Nirmala Devi Bam Memorial Moot Court Competition where 40 national teams were registered from various prestigious colleges across various parts of India. This year to continue our legacy we come up with our 2nd flagship event 2nd Smt. Nirmala Devi Bam Memorial International.
Moot Court Competition (Via Online Mode) to test and enhance the research and advocacy skills among the upcoming generation of the legal fraternity. The mode of this competition is online as we all are aware of the global pandemic COVID-19. The 2nd Smt. Nirmala Devi Bam Memorial International.
Moot Court Competition (Via Online Mode) themed on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law which is an emerging legal practice in the bar and bench. Participants are required to ensure electricity and internet connectivity on their side during the presentation slot.
Eligibility
Undergraduate students pursuing five-year or three-year courses of B.A.LL.B./B.B.A.LL.B./Integrat
Team Composition
- One team, comprising of a maximum of three (3) members, per team, shall be eligible to participate in the Competition, subject to completion of Registration formalities.
- From a team of two persons, one can appear to present the case. The other person shall be the researcher and for three persons two can appear to present the case.
- Each team should prepare one Memorial from the side of PETITIONER only.
Awards
- Winners: Rs. 31,000/-
- 1st Runner Up: Rs. 21,000/-
- 2nd Runner Up: Rs. 11,000/-
- Best Speaker: Rs. 11,000/-
- Best Memorial: Rs. 11,000/-
- Best Researcher: Rs. 11,000/-
Registration Details
Teams must confirm their participation by filling up the online Registration Form completely by May 10th 2020. (NO APPROVAL FROM INSTITUTION IS NEEDED)
Every Participating Team will be allotted a team code which will be communicated in due time via email. In case of any changes in the team composition, in terms of the members, the same must be officially conveyed to the Organizers in due time.
Registration fee: Rs. 2,000/-. per team.
