ABOUT THE ORGANISER

Established in 1924, ILS Law College is one of the premier law schools in India and has been playing a pioneering role in legal education and scholarship in the country. The ILS Corporate Law Cell is a student-run body of ILS Law College, Pune, founded in 2009, under the aegis of the faculty- in-charges Smita Sabne and Swatee Yogessh.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

On behalf of the ILS Corporate Law Cell of ILS Law College, we are pleased to announce that the Corporate Law Colloquium 5.0 will be held on 1st March 2020.

The Colloquium is an annual conference organized by the ILS Corporate Law Cell on contemporary issues in corporate law. The previous editions of the Colloquium have had discussions on Real Estate Investment Trusts, Block-chain technology, Crypto-currencies, Restrictions on the layering of subsidiaries, the Takeover Code, Data Privacy, Corporate Governance and Insider Trading among others.

The Colloquium provides an ideal academic platform for students to discuss emerging issues of the corporate world and novel views of eminent experts in the field. This year, with topics like the Overview of IBC; Insights into IBC Law and Judicial trends; Investing in Stressed Assets – M&A opportunities, issues & challenges; and Behind the Corporate Curtain – Future for Law Students, the Colloquium promises to be an interactive exchange of cutting-edge knowledge.
