Wise & Worth, Advocates and Consultants is a full-service law firm based out of Chennai with expertise and practice focused primarily on Corporate and Insolvency Law Practice, Banking Law, Consumer Law, Commercial Dispute Resolution, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Property Law, arbitration, Tax (Income Tax, Customs and Goods and Services Tax) and International Trade Practice and Tech Law and Intellectual Property Law Practice, with presence across all Courts and Tribunals in Chennai. The Firm has expertise and focus on transaction advisory services for fundraising, mergers and acquisition and for startups.

Who can Apply?

The internship is open for 4th and 5th-year students of the 5-year law program, and 3rd-year students of the 3-year law program.

Requirement

Candidates are expected to be pro-active and willing to grapple with newer challenges and go above and beyond the usual duties expected of an intern.

Exposure to Interns

Interns will be assigned work where they will be exposed to and work on live cases and Interns will be involved either in legal research or case preparation or on some transaction advisory assignments like legal due diligence, tax due diligence or drafting of Shareholders Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements. All the work would involve a requirement for quick learning and adaptation.

Each intern will be assigned to a senior to whom he needs to report. Further, Interns may be allowed to participate in the weekly training sessions meant for Associates/Senior Associates and Advocates of the Firm.

Candidates with good academic track record and capabilities will be selected based on credentials, and interviews from the Applications submitted.
