About the Organizer
The University of North Bengal was established by an Act of the Legislature of West Bengal in 1962 with the mission “to encourage and provide for instruction for teaching, training and research in various branches of learning and course of study; to promote advancement and dissemination of knowledge and learning and to extend higher education to meet the growing needs of society.”
The Department of Law was formerly known as the University College of Law and was established as such in the year 1974. It was upgraded as the department of Law in the year 2000.
About the Programme
The Centre for Cyber Law and Cyber Security under the Department of Law, University of North Bengal, is organising a five day Short Term Programme on Cyber Law and Cyber Security from 3rd September 2019 to 7th September 2019 in the Department of Law, Campus.
The programme aims to provide awareness and equip ourselves in safeguarding data and to handle the cyber securities so that the cyber system be made more secure.
Eligibility
Centre for Cyber Law and Cyber Security is pleased to invite participants from different government organisations, Academicians, Judiciary, Police Officers, Advocates, Students and others.

1. No fees for the registration.
2. The last date for the registration is 28th August.
3. No TA/DA will be payable to the participants for attending the programme.
