The 7th Edition of GIMC (GNLU International Moot Court Competition) shall take place from the 4th to 8th February, 2015. GIMC is a flagship event of Gujarat National Law University which is annual event organised by the University since its inception in 2009.
GIMC had a humble beginning and has grown since then to carve a niche for itself among thereputed International Moot Court Competitions and the past six editions of GIMC has garnered due recognition from prestigious organizations like the American Society of International Law (ASIL), the International Law Students Association (ILSA) and the Asian Society of International Law (ASIAN SIL).
The Winners of the 6th edition, i.e. the team from NLSIU (National Law School of India University), took back with them an array of prizes including a cash prize, opportunity to attend a summer course sponsored by World Trade Institute (WTI) in Bern and a collection of books.
The moot problem, which is based on International Trade Law, along with its distinguished Judges will present a challenge to the teams which can be surmounted only with acuity, clarity of thought, thorough research, composure along with flawless presentation and eloquence.
Prizes
Cash prizes of approximately INR 70,000 in addition to WTI’s Summer Programme at Bern are up for grabs.

23rd July, 2014: Release of the Rules and the Moot Problem.
15th September, 2014: Last day for registration and all formalities related to registration.
5th January, 2015: Last day for submitting the soft copy of the Written Submission (11:59 P.M. IST).
14th January, 2015: Last day for submitting the hard copy of the Written Submission (5:00 P.M. IST).
5-6th February, 2015: Preliminary Rounds.
7th February, 2015: Quarter-Final and Semi-Final Rounds.
8th February, 2015: Final Round.
