About the universities
Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur is a National Law University located at Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. It is the 19th National Law University established in India by The Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014, passed by Maharashtra Legislature under the Maharashtra Act No VI of 2014.
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law is a National Law University located in Patiala, Punjab, India. It was established in 2006 by the Punjab Government as a university dedicated to the field of Legal Education. The first vice-chancellor of the University was Gurjit Singh.
About the PG Diploma courses
Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur in association with Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab is introducing three PG Diploma Courses from September 2019. These courses shall be offered from the academic Year 2019-20 in ‘Distance Education Mode’
The PG Diploma courses will be spread over two semesters and there will be 20 hours of contact classes every semester. Contact classes will be scheduled in the month of October-November and April-May of the academic year for two weeks and exams will be conducted in February and July in the First weekend. Results will be published on August 2020.
The University invites applications for admission to the following PG Diploma Courses through Distance learning mode for the Academic Year 2019-20.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution (PGDADR)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution (PGDFDR)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Energy Laws and Policy (PGDELP)
Eligibility and Admission Procedure
The eligibility for admission to Diploma Courses shall be any graduate with not less than 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories of Maharashtra) from a recognised University.
Students undertaking five-year integrated Degree Courses shall be eligible for admission (only Fourth and Fifth Year students). There is no age limit. Professionals and Employees are also eligible for admission. Interested candidates have to submit the duly filled application along with other enclosures and fee.

Selection Process
The admission to Diploma Courses shall be on the basis of inter se merit prepared according to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and any other criterion prescribed by the University.

- Date of Advertisement: 27th July 2019
- Last Date to receipt of filled in application in the prescribed format: 16th September 2019
- Commencement of session: 12th October 2019 (Tentative)
