About the organisation
The National Skill Development Agency attempts to increase the Employability of Youth in India. It is a fully autonomous body, constituted on the approval of Union Cabinet of India. On May 9, 2013, the Union Cabinet gave its nod to form NSDA.
The Ministry is responsible for the coordination of all skill development efforts across the country, removal of disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower, building the vocational and technical training framework, skill up-gradation, building of new skills, and innovative thinking not only for existing jobs but also jobs that are to be created.
Job description
The National Skill Development Agency is opening job posts for Young Professionals and Consultant (Grade 1).
Number of vacancies
The total number of Individual to be engaged by NSDA shall depend upon the actual requirement at a particular point of time and provision of budget.
Eligibility
Education Qualification: In general, the following qualifications are required, however, any specific Educational Qualification may be prescribed as per the actual requirement of the verticals:
Essential: Masters’ Degree in relevant subject or BE/BTech or 2 years PG Diploma in Management or MBBS or LLB or CA or ICWA.
Desirable: Person with M. Phil, PhD, additional qualification, research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred.
Young Professional: Post qualification experience of 1 year.
Consultant (Grade 1): Post qualification experience of 3-8 years.
Note: Post qualification experience includes up to 3 years for PhD holder, provided no work experience is counted during those 3 years.
Salary
Young Professional: Rs. 60,000/month (fixed)
Consultant (Grade 1): Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 1,45,000/month
