About the organisation

PKS Legal is a boutique law firm with an office at New Delhi operating under the aegis of Advocate Parmod Kumar Sharma.

The firm specializes in civil, commercial and criminal litigation, and Arbitration; but is not restricted to just these in its areas of practice.

Nature of internship

• Visit the Delhi High Court, Delhi district courts, tribunals, and other judicial and quasi-judicial fora;
• Assist with court proceedings;
• Assist with day to day legal research and drafting;
• Prepare case notes and analysis;
• Assist in client counselling and strategy meetings with clients.
  Stationery, study material, internet, computers, bare acts will be provided in the office. Interns may carry their laptops.

Qualifications

• 3^rd/4^th/or 5^th-year students of 5-year integrated course and law students of any year from the 3-year course.
  In exceptional circumstances, we offer an internship to 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd-year students of 5-year integrated course as well.
• Fluency in English and Hindi.
• Proficiency with MS Office, database management, various legal search engines and other computer applications.
• Flexible and cooperative attitude to work.
• Willingness to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours daily including court visits.

Stipend

Strictly based on performance and as per the discretion of the firm.

Duration of Internship

Minimum 4 weeks. Certificate for the internship will only be provided to students who complete 4 weeks and above.
