About the organisation
Artam is an organisation that aims to promote ADR Mechanisms as an alternative to current dispute resolution systems through workshops, seminars, mediation drives, community awareness programmes etc.
It is based in Calicut, Kerala in India.
Artam has been conducting programmes and workshops especially for students pursuing their L.L.B.
The main aim of Artam is to widen the scope of ADR methods in the administration of justice so that justice is served in a speedy, hassle free and less expensive manner.
Nature of internship
Artam is looking for students pursuing their career in law to intern with us. The nature of work will be mostly in the kind of research and office works.
We are looking for capable student individuals who are can contribute to our organisation and at the same time enlighten themselves in ADR.
We also provide them with classes and workshops on ADR and opportunities to witness real-life sessions wherein ADR methods are applied, during the course of the internship period.
Location
The internship will be happening in Calicut in the state of Kerala. The students applying for the internship must be prepared to stay in Kerala and work for the required period that is a month.
Who can apply
We prefer final year law students, however, others are also eligible to apply and shall be considered. Only law students can apply.
We are looking for pro bono law students who are especially inclined towards ADR mechanisms and are ready to work with us inside of Kerala.
Duration of internship
The internship starts from 15th April 2019 to 15th May 2019. That is the duration of the internship is one month.
Application Procedure
- Submit an article as to “Relevance and Scope of ADR in India and it’s Limitations.”
- The articles should be mailed to artamadr[at]gmail.com.
- The article should be between 300-350 words.
- Provide the name of your institution and your contact details along with the article.
- The article must be in word format or typed and mailed. Do not send them in pdf format.

- Artam’s campus ambassadors will be picked from those selected for the internship according to the performance they give. They will be required to conduct and coordinate the events and other responsibilities, of course with our guidance all along.
