(July 15, 2013 – July 30, 2013), you are bound to come for just 5 days in a week and timings are 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. But you may leave earlier if there is no work at all.

How big was the office? Team strength?

It was small but fully equipped office located at Chamber of the Advocates of high Court and also another office which was at his house.

There were around 8-10 lawyers and you are assigned work by all of them.

They usually accept but in some cases they may not depending upon work pressure and interns working there.

Accommodation: how, where, how was it?

Accommodation was not a problem as I was staying with my relative but one may easily get an auto or bus and also it is easier to find office as firstly it is in high court and secondly Shekhar Bhargava is a well- known senior advocate.

First impression. First day, formalities etc.

On my first day I reached earlier and was made to wait for about 40 minutes till the other interns and associates come and finally I entered the office and was introduced with other associates.

There were no formalities as such and almost every one greets you nicely.

Main tasks 

It included basically the research work and reading the files of various cases and give the brief. Basically I was interning under one of the associates i.e. Ritu Bhargava and she will explain you each and every thing in detail.

I was also made to do works like collecting the copy of judgments from the office and filing application to get the copy of judgment.

Work environment, people

No strict working environment.

Almost everyone was friendly and helpful and even if there is no work pressure you would not have to get bore as they will always tell you something interesting or you can always read books from their library.

It was also fun to work with such a young team of lawyer.

Best things? 

If there is no work at all or no cases scheduled in high court you are not bound to stay there, you can always leave by informing them and go to malls nearby and enjoy coffee at CCD or pizza at Pizza Hut or Dominos.

Bad things? 

Sometimes no cases are scheduled at high court and you may not find anyone at the office and you are left with no option but to simply leave or may attend the proceedings at different court rooms alone.

What did you do to chill? Co-interns, colleagues

Usually all the interns hang out together and interact with other associates during lunch time by sharing experiences which was fun.

One may always go out for a cup of coffee at CCD or pizza hut nearby during lunch hours.
