In India there has been shift from patriarchal society to a society more considerate towards women . Judiciary has played prominent role in uplifting the position of women. Recently, there have been radical developments as in Sabrimala Case, Striking down of Adultery laws and coming up of acts like Sexual Harassment at Workplace etc.
