The Sampling and Official Statistics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata in collaboration with the International Growth Centre (IGC), London School of Economics will organise the 4th West Bengal Growth Conference on 26-27 December, 2014.
Call for Papers
Papers are invited on any topic relevant for the growth and development of the West Bengal and states linked to West Bengal’s development.
A synopsis (about 3 pages) may be submissed in MS Word format electronically at the following address – sandipisi@gmail.com, sandip@isical.ac.in
This synopsis shall be reviewed by a committee and short listed. The selected authors will be subsequently requested for the full paper as per the schedule listed hereinafter.
The presenters of papers are expected to benefit significantly from the comments and suggestions (on their work in progress) made by eminent economists from India and abroad working on West Bengal’s economic problems.
Local hospitality (including loding and board) and domestic travel cost (following standard eligibility rules) will be reimbursed.
