Internship Opportunities @ Spice Digital Limited, Noida: Applications Open

Spice Digital Limited (“Spice”) is a market leader of the financial technology sector. Spice is engaged, inter alia, in the business of domestic money transfer, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS), Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), and other financial technology related services.

Spice’s Legal Department is engaged primarily in contract drafting, vetting and negotiations and compliance.

Spice proposes to offer short-term and long-term internships. These internships will provide an excellent opportunity for law students to familiarise themselves with the abovementioned fields of legal work vis-a-vis financial technology sector.

Eligibility

Criteria for candidates applying to internship programme is provided below

• The candidates must be pursuing final year of their graduation/ post-graduation in law.
• They must have prior internship experiences.
• Sound knowledge of Contract Act, 1872 along with basic drafting and vetting skills.

Short listing and approval of candidature based on eligibility criteria would be done post an interview of the interested candidates.

Duration

The internship would be for a minimum duration of 4 weeks and maximum duration of 6 months. Office timings shall be 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Work days shall be Monday to Friday and second and fourth Saturdays.

Remuneration

Short-term interns shall not be entitled to any remuneration, however, interns staying with us for 6 months shall be entitled to stipend @ Rs. 10,000 per month. No other expenses like travel costs etc. will be admissible and no claims would be entertained.

Logistic Support

Interns will be provided with the necessary office logistics supports i.e. work space, stationery and facility for photocopying. Short-term interns will need to have their own laptop computers. The office is located in sector-125, Noida, right next to Amity University. Shuttle bus service shall be available from Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro Station and/or Golf Course Metro Station.
