The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India invites applications for three legal Consultants on contract basis for the period of one year to begin with.
This period could be extended further based on the requirement of the Ministry. However, the performance of the consultants will be reviewed after every six months and their
contract shall be extended or discontinued as the case may be) depending on their performance.
Eligibility
The esential educationa qualification and experience for the Legal Consultant are as follows:
- Degree of LLB or equivalent from a recognized University and/or institute in
India or abroad, recognized by the Bar council of India - Qualified to be registered as an advocate in any State Bar Council/ Bar Council of
lndia in terms of Advocate’s Act, 1961 - At least five years of experience in Court of Law or expert in legal matters with
sufficient experence working in Government department having handled court cases - Retired Government servant of the level of SO/US/OS fulfilling the above criteria

The application format is given in the official notification below. The application should be typed in MS-Word format and duly filled in. The duly filled applications should be emailed to soadm2.inb@nic.in.
Hard copies of application along with copies of education and experience certificates should be submitted in a sealed envelope to Under Secretary (Admn), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi.
The last date to apply is June 26, 2018.
