Call for Campus Ambassadors
Umeed Initiative is a Non Government Organization which was established in 2013 to act as a conduit between people and the government and to reach out to people at the grass-root level.
Our organization plans to assist the people at the grass-root level by providing free legal aid & healthcare facilities, generating awareness and educating people about social issues and providing professional training to youth.
We are also in the process of creating a forum whereby individual grievances of the people will be taken up with the appropriate departments through the use of various innovative tools.
Our organization is currently based in Delhi, however, we plan to spread our movement throughout the country by starting chapters in other states very soon.We also plan to spread our movement to the rest of the country by establishing our chapters in other states very soon.
We’re hiring students to work as Campus Ambassadors for our organization.
As a Campus Ambassador you can:
Build valuable career skills like networking, public speaking, and communication. Expand your professional network
Contribute towards fulfillment of our social objectives and get a chance to become a member of the Core Committee of our Organisation.
The selected students will get a certificate of experience on completion of the programme or on demand, when required.
The performance of the students will be evaluated on a regular basis and the best campus ambassadors will get a chance to become a part of the core team of the organization.
As an Umeed Initiative Campus Ambassador, the students will be required to act as a liaison between their college and our organization.
Responsibilities
The selected students will be required to:
Spread the word in their college about our programmes through the use of social media, publicity materials provided by us and physical interactions with their respective peers.
Collect feedback from their peers through the use of group interviews, questionnaires and individual interactions.
Engage in consultations, training and online conferences with our core committee.
Commit to a minimum of 3 months of work.
Eligibility
Any student pursuing a full time under-graduate or post graduate programme is eligible to apply.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Twitter and Facebook is a must.
Terms and Conditions
The selected students will be required to devote a minimum of 3 hours every week.
The campus ambassadors will be required to fulfill the given targets.
This will be an unpaid position.
