About the Conference
The National Conference on Socio- Economic and Legal Issues is scheduled to be held on February 16-17,2018 in School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun.
Thchanging social and economic circumstances and the ever-increasing regulatory role
being undertaken by the government have empowered people to express their
perspectives on contemporary issues, thus producing a dialogue on developing matters.
This conference aims to cover a broad spectrum of topical issues and explore some of the
social and economic contemporary controversies which surround law. It also aims at
exploring the unexplored aspects of various areas of law from different perspectives as
well as providing a forum for not only learning the legal rules governing a specific legal
issue but also for debating the controversial policy questions engendered by that area of
law.
The conference hopes that this intellectual approach will encompass a broad spectrum of
law and socio-economic legal studies. It proposes to achieve a true synthesis of law and
other disciplines and areas of learning.
