The Literary and Debating Committee of National Law University Odisha, is extremely proud to announce – ‘Aqeedat’ – The 1st National Urdu Poetry Competition 2014.
The theme for the Competition is: “Vo Shaqs jo bahut motabar sa lagta hai“.
POETRY COMPETITION RULES:
1. The poems must be written in Deva-Nagiri script.
2. Only one entry per person is allowed.
3. The entrant must be a student enrolled at any university in India.
4. All work must be original and unaided.
5. The length of the poem should not exceed beyond two pages.
6. Entrants are free to either send a scanned copy of their poems via email to litdeb@nluo.ac.in or they may send it via post at the following address by February 21st 2014.

7. Late entries will not be accepted.
8. Please make sure your contact details are mentioned correctly in the covering letter to your entry.
9. Krotova reserves the right to use entries for publication or promotional purposes.
10. Individuals will be notified by email in the event of their entry being selected for publication in the compilation – ‘Aqeedat’. Also, being a National level Competition, all entries would be judged by a panel of highly qualified people to serve as competition judges to which, the decision of the chairperson of the panel would be final.
11. Competition winners will be contacted latest by 07th March 2014. The Best two entries would be awarded with a cash prize of 2,500 Rupees each. In addition to this, the first three runners-up also would be awarded with consolation prizes.
