GLS Law College organized and hosted Shri I. M. Nanavati Memorial National Moot Court Competition between January 19th to 21st, 2017, to commemorate late Shri I. M. Nanavati who made his mark as an advocate in the High Court of Gujarat and Supreme Court of India, and as an educationalist.

The competition was organized with the aim of providing a practical experience and an insight to the budding lawyers into the Legal World.

54 teams from 14 states of India comprising of 162 budding lawyers from various National law universities and eminent law colleges had participated in this competition.

With a Vision an Aim to continue the tradition set forth by the institution, the GLS Law family is proud to announce the Shri I.M. Nanavati Memorial National Moot court Competition open for students who are–Pursuing an integrated 5year LL.B. programme in India; Pursuing a 3year LL.B. programme in India.

Number of Teams

Only 32 teams on first come first serve basis shall be allowed to register.

January 19 – 21, 2018

Important Dates

15^th November, 2017: Release of Moot Problem

30^th November, 2017: 2 December, 2017: Last date for Provisional Registration

15^th December, 2017: Last date for Final Registration

9^th January, 2018: Last date for Submission of Memorials (soft copy)

13^th January, 2018: Last date for Submission of Memorials (hard copy)

Registration Procedure

Registration Form to be sent after provisional registration is done by sending an e-mail informing provisional registration on glsmootcourt@gmail.com

The deadline for provisional registration has been extended till December 2, 2017, 11:59PM. A slot for a team shall only be reserved when the final registration is completed, i.e., the DD and registration form has been sent in a soft copy(by mail) as well as in hard copy (by courier, post).
