The upcoming edition of Gender, Human Rights and Law, a publication brought out by the Centre for Women and the Law (CWL) at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore invites papers for Vol. 5.
About
This publication will launch a special issue under the title ‘De-criminalization to Re-criminalization’ in the light of the Naz Foundation judgment verdict by Hon’ble Supreme Court.
A blend of economic, legal, human rights, public health, and other perspectives will be included, with a particular focus on academic data.
Definitional issues should be explored, as well as less documented forms of the impact, such as forced marriage and correctional therapies.
Call for Papers (Guidelines):
We seek contributions in the form of multidisciplinary writings, articles and essays (4,000-8,000 words).
The deadline for accepting submissions is February 28, 2014.
The same may be emailed to cwl@nls.ac.in (preferably in MS Word format) along with a covering letter addressed to Dr. Sarasu Esther Thomas (Chief Editor, Gender, Human Rights and Law, 2014).
The covering letter should include the author’s contact information, bio and a short abstract that outlines the main questions or themes addressed in the paper. We encourage potential Contributors to adhere to the Harvard Bluebook (21st edn.) for citation style.
All queries may be directed to the above-mentioned e-mail address.
