We take the pleasure to invite you all to participate in the “2nd All India Essay Writing Competition” organized by School of Law, KIIT University.
All possible measures have been adopted to ensure that the standard set by us in the previous year will not only be maintained but will see a substantial quantitative update and will meet all standards of a national level essay competition.

THEMES FOR THE ESSAY COMPETITION
We are offering a broad theme to enable the participants to freely choose their topic of research:
“Counter Terrorism and the Protection of Human Rights: in the perspective of civil society and countering global terrorism”.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Any student of Law (LLB or LLM) or any other student pursuing any academic study in a recognised institution/university can participate.
Guidelines for Submissions
All submissions must be in electronic medium.
We only accept ‘.doc’ or ‘.docx’ file format.
All submissions must be made via www.lawfreaks.org/ ksol-essay-submission
File should be drafted in the following pattern:
Font Type: Times New Roman.
Spacing: 1.5 inch spacing.
Font Size: 12 points
Length of the Essay should be within 5000 words (exclusive of end notes). Entries exceeding the word limit will be disqualified.
No ‘foot notes’ will be entertained; participants are required to provide ‘end notes’.
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and can invite detrimental consequences.
Submitted essays may be chosen for publication in KLS Journal at the sole discretion of the editorial board.
Last date of submission is 31st January 2014
