JOB POST: Patent Researcher at Ricky Chopra International Counsels, Gurgaon

Job description for Patent Researcher at Ricky Chopra International Councils- Life Science-Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemistry.

The primary responsibilities include:

• Performing various patent searches (for example, patentability, Freedom to Operate, patent validity/invalidity assessment)
• Searching & analyzing patent and non-patent literature on different databases including STN, Pat Base, Embase and Others
• Patent drafting and filing
• Perform various other types of patent analyses, such as, claims mapping, portfolio analysis, patent categorization, patent valuation etc.

COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to analyse, evaluate and understand complex technological concept
• Skill to gather data from different sources and provide insight to client
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills with a particular ability to translate scientific concepts into language easily understood by the non-scientist
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
• Self-starter, meticulous with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good team player

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:

B.Tech./M.Tech./MSc/PHD

Background in IPR

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION:

Qualified Patent Agent

Degree In Law
