The Lords Advocate (TLA) is a non-profit association constituting students, academicians and lawyers from different parts of India, working together to establish a healthy development of justice and equality in India. The Lords Advocate is dedicated to the promotion and welfare of law students all over India.
The Lords Advocate is a young organization which brought forward its successful journal ‘International Journal of Advanced Research in Law and Social Science’ receiving overwhelming participation aims to gather a larger audience for its 1st Pinky Anand National Essay Competition powered by Manupatra.
About the Competition
With the first edition of The Pinky Anand National Essay Competition, our organization aims to provide a platform to the students enrolled in law schools and colleges all over the country to express their views on topics based on the Privacy Law of our Country.
PANEC offers an educational exposure through a research based learning approach. And for this reason we have chosen the topic which is of a higher public value.
Ms Pinky Anand, the Additional Solicitor General of India, is an Indian lawyer designated as a senior advocate and is also a politician.
She is an erudite speaker, writer and active in social issues. She is a well-known speaker on media and International and National Conferences. Being an expert in the constitutional law, property law, privacy law and many other legal arenas, she is the best guide in the area of research the essay encompasses.
The Lords Advocate has tried to go beyond the mundane subjects to throw light on the dynamic facets of law, and students by way of participating in this competition would be able to enhance their overall personality and hone their professional skills.
Therefore, the Lords Advocate brings forward a golden opportunity through PANEC’16 for law students nationwide to be a part of an enriching and resourceful learning experience.
