Partners for Law in Development (PLD) will be conducting a 1-day workshop on Sexual Harassment at the Workplace.

About
The workshop will cover an introduction to the law on sexual harassment of women at the workplace, the role of employers and Internal Complaints Committees (ICC), the procedure for conducting inquiries, and the rights and remedies under the Act.
This will be specially useful for:
Members of Internal Complains Committees
Board members and management of an organization
Personnel from the human resource department
Other persons tasked with prevention and redressal of sexual harassment in their organizations
Persons working in the non-profit sector on the issue of sexual harassment at the workplace
The workshop will be conducted by:
Ms. Geetha Ramaseshan: Lawyer based in Chennai, with more than 30 years of practice in constitutional, criminal, civil, labour and matrimonial law.
Ms. Madhu Mehra: Lawyer/Executive Director of Partners for Law in Development, with 20 years of experience in individual and organizational capacity development, research and activism on laws relating to women.
Registration Fee
The registration fee for the workshop is Rs.2000/- per participant, and will include a resource pack, and the meals of the participants for the day.
