Brief Description of the Course
The Course aims to provide knowledge on contemporary and advanced issues of the military laws in an intensive manner.
It also aims to acquaint the participants with the process of law in defence forces, starting from reporting of a case to sentencing and also appeals and remedies available.
It will make the participants familiar with the Court martial proceedings in detail by conducting moot court martial.
It also aims to acquaint the participants with Armed Forces Tribunal Act and Rules, including drafting and the art of pleading before these tribunals.
The best thing about the Course is that the participants will be shown previously recorded court martial proceedings and petitions filed before the tribunal to give them practical experience of the procedure followed by the Armed Forces Tribunals.
Aim
To acquaint participants with process of law in defence forces, starting from reporting of a cases to sentencing, as also appeals and remedies available, within the force and outside the organization.
To make participants familiar with Court martial proceedings in detail, including moot on court martial.
To acquaint participants with Armed forces Tribunal Act and Rules, including, drafting and art of pleading in these tribunals.
Participants will be shown previously recorded court martial proceedings and petitions filed in tribunal, to give them almost on ground kind of experience and feel of case.
This will help the students in taking up career as advocates on AFT and court martials.

Fee Structure
Participants from outside GNLU
3,500/- (three thousand five hundred only)
Classes will be conducted from 2:30 pm- 5:30 pm on working days.

Students are also required to register themselves by paying the registration fee in the Accounts Section latest or by sending us DD in favour of Gujarat National Law University payable at Ahmedabad.
