About
The journey of Kairos since its inception has been eventful and fulfilling.
The maiden edition of Kairos took place in 2014, and was a greater success than anticipated: there were events spanning music, dance, literature, debating, art and legal competitions.
Performances by Dualist Inquiry and Dhruv Vishwanath were among the highlights of our fest.
The second edition of Kairos, in 2015, only saw the bar being raised higher, with an even larger turnout and some stellar live performances by the best in the country, such as Advaita.
Kairos 2016
Kairos 2016 will only get bigger and better, and promises you three days of amazing events, awesome music, and great prizes.
In order to make the most of the three days, we have an amazing array of events planned to cater to the different interests and talents of participants.
Adventure
For the adventurous ones, we have Scavengers, the Treasure Hunt, involving participants rushing through the capital in a race against time.
Theatre
For those who love theatre, we have Galli Galli Mein Shor Hai, a street play challenge, along with a stage play and Mad Ads.
Music
Music lovers have a variety of events to keep them engrossed: we have One Night at the Band Stand, our flagship Battle of the Bands, and a solo vocal and acoustic group performances.
Moreover, in order to diversify our events, we have also come up with an Acapella musical event, which is a first for us and is sure to add a new dimension to our fest.
Dance
If dance is what catches your fancy, however, Thunder, the Hip-Hop dance crew event might pique your interest, not to mention Boombox, the Hip-Hop Improv Battle, a solo event.
We also have a classical/contemporary category in order to allow participants to show off their skills in different dance forms, and even under this category, have different competitions for solo and group events, to encourage our participants.
Literary Events
To cater to literary interests, we have events such as the Poetry Slam and Die Another Day. For those who would love something high-brow, Strife, the parliamentary debate, and High Q, the quiz, are designed to keep your intellect stimulated and dazzled.
Art
However, this isn’t all! To unleash the inner artist in you, we have Art Crime, the graffiti competition and the face painting event.
Photography
Frames, the photography competition, too promises to be an exciting event. In keeping with the law school spirit, we also have Suit Up!, a negotiation competition.
After Party
Last but not the least, we also have after-fest party to enliven the atmosphere!
In offering such a variety of events to participants, and infusing certain new ones in a bid to improve ourselves, we hope to provide you with an experience to remember.
It is with enthusiasm that we invite you to Kairos 2016, and hope that you give us the honour and privilege of being your hosts.
We are eager to give you a taste of the NLU Delhi culture. Come and have an amazing three days of awesome music, events and great prizes!
